So a few months ago, as an experiment, I decided to put a profile up on a dating site. But unlike most profiles, I decided to be completely honest! No lines, no lies, no false advertising.
I wanted to see what would happen, so I posted this on TWO dating websites.
So many women say “I want to find a good guy!” If you want to find a good guy..you need to stop dancing on the bar! You might like the attention but nobody wants to marry the girl that pulls her shirt up for plastic beads!
I can see it now…mom, dad, this is my new girlfriend (she jumps on the table and pulls up her shirt) Please pass the potatoes!
Every profile starts out the same way. “I am easy going and I LOVE LIFE” Bla bla bla… Let’s be honest. I am NOT that easy going. I question and challenge everything put in my path. I do respect life and try to understand it…but you CANT love everything about it! .When you step in dog poop, you don’t smile and say “I LOVE LIFE” Then happily remove the poop off your shoe while humming “who let the dogs out” I have a hard time believing most of these profile that I read! I do laugh at most everything, but its my way to cope! Ha-ha see! I am going to be honest and tell you what I am looking for. I know it will scare off the normal women but I don’t want normal or average, I want amazing! When I say this I don’t mean looks or boobs, (yes, I do have to be attracted to you) but I don’t care if you have big girl parts!. I want a long relationship and I am smart enough to know you can’t base a relationship on anything that sags,droops, wrinkles,turns gray, or falls off!
You need to know you! I don’t want to be with someone who I have to tell them who they are, or what they do. I want someone who already knows the answer to that! I know who I am.
Nobody is going to heal you, fix you, or make all your problems go away. Don’t get me wrong, I will give you support daily and challenge you to keep growing as a person but I don’t want to be your therapist! No princess types..I want to find a mate who wants to be treated equal, NOT BETTER!! (nobody tell the princess the truth because they are afraid they will lose their head!)
Like I said earlier, this might seem harsh or too upfront to you! If you read this and think, he is mean! Then it’s pretty simple, you are NOT my match! Don’t change, don’t lie, don’t pretend or don’t hold back! If we don’t fit it’s OK, I am not looking to impress everyone, I am looking to weed out the ones that don’t fit so I am just left with “the one” I don’t need every women to love me…just ONE!
If you are looking for gifts or romance, then please go to the next profile. You won’t get stuffed teddy bears, roses, moonlight walks on the beach, or shinny things to wear on your wrist or fingers. All of theses things are just substitutes for the real thing . What you will get is total honesty, Someone that makes you laugh,companionship, accountability, someone who will respect you enough to NOT go to strip clubs,dance on other girls, or put you in a situation where you question my integrity! If this is not enough, too bad! Stick with guys that lie to you then buy you a sweater!
