I need attention! Relationship question

Scotty,

I have been with my boyfriend for 8 months, and I love him with all my heart but I still love the attention I get off other males, like when I go out to bars, guys flirt with me and I get a kick out of it! It’s great, It makes me feel beautiful! I haven’t cheated on him before, and I never will. I just feel so bad because he asks me how was my night and I kinda lie and say “it was good, and all girls.” It’s the same when ex’s tell me they miss me, I’m like “oh do you” and I lead them on. Like I said before my boyfriend means the world to me and I would NEVER cheat on him… but I feel bad.:(

Is it wrong to do this behind his back!?

Scotty Says… and the winner of the “I won’t accept any accountability award” goes to…… YOU!!!!

Its interesting how you said you “kinda lied”!?!?! There is no such thing. YOU LIED! You did this because it’s wrong! That’s why you feel bad!

You keep saying that you wouldn’t cheat on your boyfriend but you already did. There might not have been physical touching, but the fact that you are doing things that you know would upset your boyfriend and then hiding it IS cheating.

Cheating is more than just touching or sex. If you act interested, lead someone on, or let someone think you are available and there could be a chance for intimacy, this is also cheating. This is called emotional cheating and it normally leads to physical cheating. Emotional cheating is just as unfaithful as physical cheating. You need to be up front if you are involved in a relationship. If you don’t want anyone to know you are involved with someone, maybe you shouldn’t be.

And that’s what Scotty Says…

The race is on?

I was standing in the corner of the grade school gym watching the gaggle of sticky unruly children. The young teacher’s voice echoed as she tried to coax the disorderly kids to assemble on the black line in some type of starting position. After a few minutes of yelling orders, this unlucky leader had her army of ants lined up and ready to go. The youngsters fell into place and grew quiet with anticipation.

The teacher blew her whistle and the children sprung into action. They dashed across the smooth, shiny, varnished surface. The race was on! I suddenly snapped to attention. To these little runners, this was not a fun run; this was serious business. The Olympics had nothing on this school sprint for honor. Sneakers squeaked on the hard wood floor as their little legs pumped propelling them to their destination. I grew interested in the outcome of the race. I remembered how proud I felt after my fourth grade field day, where I can proudly say I was third fastest in my class! I wondered which of these mini-athletes would find their own glory today.

As the pre-pubescent sprinters grew closer to their destination, one child bolted out of the pack and gained a sizable lead. He was only steps away from winning it all. He raised his arms in triumph as he crossed the painted black finish line! Truly this child was the fastest today. Victory was his!

What a race! I began to clap for the winner but my applause was cut short by the sneering voice of the teacher as she began to scold the heavy breathing children who were congratulating the winner. She scornfully said, “Now class, we are all equal here! Nobody is better! Everyone who participates is a winner; so today we are all winners!”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! We are all equal? Isn’t this a competition? How is nobody better? If a child runs faster than the rest, then he IS a better runner! (At least for that race.)

This is what we call education? First they take away dodge ball, now you can’t have a winner in gym class? It’s idealistic and naive to think we live in a Utopian society where competition isn’t necessary. Competition is healthy and needed because it challenges us to improve our own performance. Without it, we would have nothing to push us forward. This world is rooted in competition. It’s good to teach moral lessons and good sportsmanship in school but teaching kids not to compete in a competitive world is dangerous. If you teach a child that we are all equal you can’t be surprised when he grows up and wants to put a bullet in his head because he can’t make it in the real world when he realizes that he isn’t equal. If there are no winners then everyone is a loser!

Girl in the Grand Prix outfit…

So I talked to a girl, (who was in a Grand Prix outfit) but we weren’t at a racetrack. It’s Halloween time that means…..You know, I am NOT sure what that means.

I don’t really understand Halloween at all. I do know it has to be confusing to kids. Parents yell “don’t take candy from strangers, don’t take candy from strangers.” Except on Halloween then its alright! Ha-ha OK???

Anyway this girl was Dressed in a Grand Prix outfit, (this really has nothing to do with the story I just will use this to describe her.) She could have been the girl in the green shirt, but she chose to wear racing gear tonight. (Vrrrrrooomm Vrrrooommm)

She told me about her EX and how HE wants to be “just friends with her.” I was shocked because I have NEVER heard of a guy saying these words to a girl before. It’s normally the other way around. So I am a bit stunned! She also surprised me when she said she took the “I can’t just be his friend stance”

So before I go on, I want you to answer these questions:

1)Is it possible to go from “more than friends” back to “just friends”

2)Do you think it’s wrong or shallow for her to stand up and say ” I can’t be just friends”

Answer these two questions, and then I will tell you the rest of the story.

National day of silence on Scottysaysradio.com

Today on Scottysaysradio.com

Scotty says…… NOTHING! Today is the Day of Silence on Scottysaysradio.com
The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on July 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!).

To protest these rates and encourage you to take action and contact your Congressional representatives, we are taking part in the Day of Silence, by silencing our programming for today.

We ask that you excuse the interruption of our normal programming, and ask that you take action to help ensure this silence is not permanent. Please call your Congressional Representatives today. Click the link below http://www3.capwiz.com/saveinternetradio/issues/alert/?alertid=9738601
for instructions how.

What does Scotty say? He says nothing today so he can say more for years to come!
Thanks,
